Slightly ashy whole bunch is integrated with red and black berry, muted sweet spice and gamey notes with a touch of earth and mushroom. That jubey fruit quality is also here with a touch of wood glue wild ferment. Juicy, fleshy, fresh, softly tannic red berried fruit which has a slightly sour edge, pretty, nice

Coravin fun - Burgundy selection, Talbot bracket and supper wine (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Meaty, savoury red over black fruits, sweet spice, a little peppery underpin, the fruit has a baked quality and there are some earthy notes here as well. Sourly juicy and more red fruited on the palate, alcohol warmth. It's a little bit flat for me. Meh

from Coravin. Medium minus intensity aromas of cream, vanilla, sweet spice, over a melange of red fruit and a touch of wet stone and dusty earth. Juicy, red over black fruits are quite muted and there is an earthy quality here. Tannins are a little drying especially on the gums. Hmm.

Pretty consistent with the 2011 Les Damodes. (See my note) Aromatic, lovely notes of red fruit, floral, hint of white pepper. But tannins slightly grippy, slightly tart. Seems lighter body than the 2011. Still evolving.
