Super Southern Rhone (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): Medium minus intensity aromas of bees wax, herbs, stone fruit and pear. It's quite savoury on the palate with slight pear and pear skin and a quite waxy texture. Touch of warmth joins on the finish. Hmm

Mont Redon lunch (The Hughenden Hotel, Woolahra): Sharp, spice, stone fruit, slight wet stone, cream but a little more savoury (than the 2014). With time and agitation a little more bees wax. In the mouth it's juicy and slightly tart with a touch of bitterness on the finish. Touches of crushed rock and lemon. Hmm.

Sharp crisp and long. This is a rather smooth medium flavor wine of many nuances. Pleasant.
