Cool, cola-like edge here – reminds me of a mature oaked Fronsac! Notes of camphor, black olive.
Fleshy, cherry fruit, more grip yet more resolved… kind of un-knit I suppose. Mature Bordeaux feel here. I loved this wine; showing some development and maturity, good acidity, fine structure, tension, concentration and complexity.
On return: brine, raisin, sweet cherry fruit.
