Well balanced Chardonnay with mild oak notes. Honeysuckle with toasted almond notes. Paired with shrimp scampi. Glad we drank because was on the cusp of losing some structure.

The Miner Wild Yeast Chard just might be my favorite Chardonnay. The full bodied nature and texture of this wine does dictate drinking it with food. Just sit back and enjoy.
The community got the drink until date wrong in my opinion. This should hold on strong for another couple years if cellared properly.

At Miner Family Winery, nose of allspice, pear syrup, mango, roasted hazelnuts, hints of butter and citrus, more of the same on the palate, as always, rich and delicious even on a cold wintery day in the wine country, medium/big body, and a long, long flavorful finish. this wine is for those who want something half way between a Chardonnay and a White Burgundy.

Week in wine country; 9/26/2015-10/3/2015 (Napa Valley): Yeasty, butter, tropical fruit; buettery mid-oak palate, nice acidity; lingering finish.
