Winemaker’s Notes: 8-9 different type of yeasts used in the wine, creating different layers - blended at the end (whereas typically inoculated at the beginning)
A: medium lemon N: med intensity, immediate dairy and cream nose, cultured cream, cream cheese, delicious butte, slight floral notes, blossom, honeysuckle, yeast and toast, pear apple P: med+ intensity, yellow and green fruits, Bartlett pear, light citrus, lemon peel, hints of tropical fruit, pineapple, slight champagne style finish with minerality, flint, baking spices, toast
Med body, med alcohol, med acid, dry, med+ finish. Almost impeccable balance, as well as being very complex and has a transforming finish. Oak is integrated very well, apparent on the back palette. Quite bright and refreshing for a Napa Chardonnay, almost like a Champagne, one of my favorites so far. 92pts

Not as good as I remember from earlier vintages. Leaves a somewhat bitter aftertaste.
