Restaurant by the glass choice. Drank with ravioli , no red sauce, kale and sweet potato compote. OK match. Dark red in color. Modest nose. Plum, some cherry and a little bit of an earthy note, relatively short finish.

Nose of craisens, dates and fig. Soft tannins, dried fruit, medium body. Not overly rich or complex, but for $14 it's a great buy as a daily drinker. Would buy again.

Crimson in color with slight browning around the edges, this wine (70% Corvina/30% Rondinella) showed muted dried cherry, raisin, cherry pit and hints of spice on the nose. The mouth feel was medium/full bodied with firm tannins and subtle dried red fruits and a hint of menthol. The finish was medium somewhat closed as the dried red fruits never came fully out. 13.5% abv.
Purchased for $10US/375ml, this is a very good value. It was a nice offering for our entrees of monkfish and braised beef pasta. It held up well to two diverse foods.

Black cherry fruit, a touch green on the back, but overall for $15 it works if just kinda middle of the road.
