Steaks, Burgundies, and Free T-Shirts at Brad England's (The Lake of the Isles Retreat in Minneapolis): This is the type of mature Burgundy that I look for: scents of animal, musk, forest floor, mushroom, and cherries wrapped in a beautifully silky smooth texture. Jeff said he caught a whiff of sulfur, but he is self-admittedly extremely sensitive to sulfur. All too often I find this producer very disappointing, but the magic of terroir was captured in this bottle. The wine's finish was smooth and had good length with an almost kiss of sweetness at the end. WOTN

Earthy, muddy aromas of blood and earth. Very advanced. Not showing well.
