Medium yellow. Nose of flowers, oak, hawthorn, white fruit, nice and overtly fragrant. Enters the palate fresh and fruity. Really pleasant mid palate, medium bodied. I am really impressed by the freshness given this is from Barossa.

Tasted at Torbreck Dinner @ Mandarin Grill, Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur
The wine is clear with medium plus gold colour and legs. On the nose it is clean with green apple, citrus, lime, grass, asparagus, mineral, white flowers, and hint of nutmeg. On the palate it is dry, with medium acidity, low tannin, 14.5% alcohol. Medium body with medium flavour intensity citrus fruits, lime, and mineral. Medium minus finish. Overall quality is good, drink now and over the next 2-3 years.

I can wholeheartedly say this is one of the better semillons I have enjoyed (non-botrytized) period. Showing classic semillon profile of beeswax, honey, citrus, white flowers, chalk, and citrus, this is a delightful and potent Australian offering on the varietal. A truly wonderful nose, lush and lifted. Top notch, excellent qpr.
