  • These are the most difficult wines in long time.. 6 bottles in 8 days, such enourmous bottle variation. Vrote mail to importer, no answer... but the nice one are soft and smoothe chianti..very much saviognese, very typical and pleasant...

  • In the nose quite present wood-note with cherry, blueberry and slight earty and herbal notes.
On the midpalate very fresh and quite soft tannins. The fruit is getting overlaped by minerality and acidity. Good structure.
In the aftertaste the cherry is back and then comes a tannin/acidic wall which leads the wine to a midlong finish. Somehow it is constricting your mouth. Not really my cup of tea. Maybe better with food...

  • Slightly translucent, dark cherry color with a hint of pale orange in the rim. Elegant nose of sour cherries, florals, dusty sweet cedar aromatics, some dark cherries and a hint of freshly cut apple. Restrained but pure and elegant taste with flavors of sour cherries, cranberries and a hint of dark, a bit tart plum. Lively acid structure. Mid-bodied mouthfeel with some nice bite from dusty tannins. A bit restrained, but long and fresh finish with flavors of sour cherries, dusty earth, damsons, blackberries and a bit of dried herbs.

A positive surprise: very nice, fresh and pure old-school Chianti Classico - an elegant food wine. Probably will keep for years, even decades, but is very drinkable right now. Probably will hit a nice sweet spot after a year or two in the cellar. Recommended; a good buy at 21,90€.

  • This medium bodied, orange hue Chianti Classico pops and pours as a one dimensional Sangiovese. However, while spending time in the glass it was great to experience its development into a complex and layered wine. The nose ever changing. First aromas of red fruit, mainly strawberry and red cherry. Then some white pepper and forest floor. For a moment even rubber balloon. Medium tannins and a nice bright acidity. Pair this with your favorite pizza.

  • Dyp konsentrert nese, mørke kirsebær og bjørnebær. Saftig og leskende. Flott frukt, balansert og konsentrert. Treverk, tobakk og krydder. Flott, litt varm avslutning med god lengde og pent integrerte tanniner.
