  Ripe cherries, almonds and spices. Nice structure from the tannins and acidity.

  Medium ruby in colour.
  
  On the nose, it was cherry, currants, floral perfume notes, vanilla, pepper, leather, oak, and slight tobacco notes.
  
  On the palate, notes of unripe strawberries, cherry, raspberry, plum. Also had notes of mint, herbs, and slight tomatoes.
  
  Med. bodied. Med. tannins, but soft, round, and integrated. Acidity was med., and fresh.
  
  Tannins and acidity was well balanced and elegant. Subtle and not pushy. Love it, even more so at such a great price!

  Popped and poured, drank of Zalto Universals. Bright ruby with high clarity. Tart red cherries sweet licorice d and dried tobacco leaves on the nose. Pretty interesting nose overall that invites you to come back and have another sniff. The tart cherries continue on the palate and remain the most prominent flavor. Good balance across, but perhaps pulled down a little across the mid-palate that falls a little flat to everything else. Good body, very balanced acidity that worked with food, but is not overpowering on its own. Already bought more, revelation for a brunello fan that has always loved Chianti.
