Barnyard, mushroom, cherry, orange on the nose. Sweet n sour red fruit on the palate, emphasizing cherry, pomegranate, and cranberry. Tannins completely dissolved. Oldschool despite the smaller barrels. Drinking perfectly now and for a couple of years.

A welcome gift from the better half's Roman holiday. A chianti that is tending, probably, to the lighter side. Buzzy acids and some minerals, fine light tannin drives surprising length. Raspberry fruits add a friendly touch. Good buying at under 20 euro and remains an example as one of the world's great wine label artwork.
