Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; White and red Bordeaux (@ RW): Beautiful and creamy bouquet with red and dark berries, some barnyard and stable smells. Also autumn forest which add to the complexity. On the palate chocolate, coffee, mocha, cigar. Beautiful acidity and soft tannin. This wine is in a beautiful drinking stage and probably at its perfect peak. I love it!

Tobacco nose with a touch of ashy brett. Fresh and lean bodied. Still with medium tannin. Prototypical classic Claret style. Very nice dinner wine. I enjoyed this. The structure is strong but the fruit is near it's end. Drink.

This is a regularly good performing Pomerol – even in tough vintages like 2003. Actually shows refreshing if light flavors of raspberry, with no oak masking and not much jam. Light extraction for certain, and a wise choice. Probably not very expensive, in light of the vintage.
