A very wet start which yields a surprisingly intense dry finish. The finish is a very throaty dryness, so to wash it down with a bite of a soft and creamy cheese, such as a brie, is a wonderful compliment. Take another sip after the brie, and the fruit flavors are extra pronounced while the dry finish softens up a bit. Very good. Not phenomenal or astonishingly unique, but very solid. Would not disappoint guests, but might leave something to be desired.

Tasted at a group tasting dinner. This Merlot and Cab Franc blend is very fruit forward and rich on the palate, nose is a bit restrained. Flavors include blackberry, black cherry and sandalwood. Fairly long finish. Probably not a long ager. Very good but I wasn't blown away.

Hitting it's stride, finally!
Loads of cherry tobacco up front.
Quite dry on the backside.
Good call on triple cream Brie to wash it down!
