Tart cherry notes on the palate but slightly muted. Some sweetness on entry, with spicy dark red fruit. A lovely airy, satiny texture that was almost Vosne-like (or as a previous taster said, Rousseau-like but not enough personal experience to verify). Would have been more balanced if not for the slight cork taint.

  Ouvert environ 2h00 avant le repas, laissé en cave sans le bouchon.
  Le nez est racé, ça pinotte allègrement, avec des notes de petits fruits et de conifère. La bouche n'a pas la profondeur habituelle de ce 1er cru situé avantageusement au-dessus de Chapelle. Elle est légère et élégante, on a bien joué le millésime avec une douce extraction, qui met en sourdine la fermeté de l'appellation, mais n'enlève rien à ses vertus. La finale est d'ampleur plus modeste, mais séduisante par sa finesse et son côté salin. Délicieux et prêt à boire. 92 pts
