(Decanted for one and a half hour) Deep red colour with a brick red hue showing a maturing nose with sweet red fruit, hints of leather, tobacco and hints of mocha coffee. Intense sweetness on the palats still focused on primary red fruit still. Opens up a bit on the finish with leather and a balanced intense fruity sweetness. (Best 2021-2036)

(Decanted for half an hour) Rubin red colour with a brick red hue. Maturing nose showing leather, dried fruit, sweet morellos and a touch of perfume in a very pleasant way. Sweetness on the palate with incipient maturity of fruit drying and hints of leather. This is still showing an intensity with lots of fresh fruitiness still, and this should evolve well for another decade.. (Best 2016-2036)

Really nice, as always. Very rich, with a long finish and sweet tannins. Flavor is currants, deep plum, raisins and brown sugar. A deeper, brooding version of a nice recioto. Recommend decanting for a few hours.

Really nice as La Poja always is. Deep and long finish, taste of spicies, soft tannins, sweetness, brown sugar, plum. Resembles amarone in style

Agree with DALONDRA’s note. This is far from over the hill. A favorite of ours.
