No green notes for this one. Fairly closed, not too much showing at the moment. Flavours in the red fruit spectrum, grippy finish, has enough stuffing to improve from a few more years in the cellar.

Decanted 3 hours before first tasting. Took another hour to really start opening up. Closed on the nose, slight barnyard. Cherries, tobacco on the palate. We like the Hudelot-Noellat Les Suchots from the same vintage better, but this one is still above average.

Soft red round cherry fruit, smooth tannin. Fruit was holding nicely throughout the finish. A very nice surprise

Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind. Red fruit, seemed much older than 2004, no Vosne spice, not much charm. Slightly bitter on finish.
