  • Nose: autumn leaf, Forrest floor in combination with fresh and dry red fruit. In the window between aged and younger flavors

Palete: herbal and Forrest floor are the first aromas to come. Then the strawberries and blackberries together with a light floral perfume. Medium to long finish

    Mid acidity and great complexity.

    Love it

  • At first there was autumn leaf, stable and little fruit on the the Nose. In a pleasant way though. Then! After 10 min In the glass the fruit came. Strawberries and other red fruits in a complex combination with florals.

The taste was elegant, with the dried strawberries, some aging tones and floral tones. Drink now!

A really good an fascinating wine!

  • This was a good buy at Wegman’s in Virginia. Some bricking, medium fruit, good density and pretty clearly a 1er cru, a lot of acidity, nice wine. We enjoyed this although it was surpassed by Arnoux-Lachaux Les Chaumes from the same vintage.

  • Clear, pale intensity, garnet color.

Developing nose with medium(+) intensity. Dried cherry, decaying leaves, moist forest floor, oak, coffee beans and slight oriental spice.

Medium bodied with medium(+) acidity and medium, a bit resolved, tannins.
Medium(+) intensity with a bit more fruit coming through than on the nose. Dark cherry, strawberry, decaying leaves, coffee, oriental spice, mushroom and wood. Medium(+) finish.

Solid wine with no surprises, neither good or bad ones. I'm not really a fan of Jadot's reds since I find them a bit woody and lacking freshness. This wine is getting ready to drink. Through 2021.
