Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 87.5 points

  • Juicy Pinot Noir style aromatics (ripe red fruits) which are quite fruity for a difficult year in Burgundy. Mistaken for New World by other tasters in blind tasting. Overall quite round and open on the palate after one hour in Decanter which leads me to suggest drinking it now. There is a slightly abrupt woody (not oaky!) tannic note on the finish which is not dominant but a bit awkward and precludes an otherwise higher score.
