Drank half bottle around 12:30pm and 2nd half at 9:30pm
12:30pm: Similar to the experience about 1.5 years ago. The nose is pretty expressive upon opening with red flowers and vivid spices. Wild strawberry and red cherry dominate the fruit profile on the palate with superb mineralogy and tension supporting it. Such a flamboyant wine.
9:30pm: The nose is similar to the lunchtime, with some cinnamon added on top. Much broader and deeper, with more noticeable vanilla and black tea. No sign of fatigue at all. Even though I personally slightly prefer the earlier showing, this is still lovely. (96pt)

2013 Bourgogne (Zao Wou Ki Seminar): Lovely bouquet, mostly roses and violets. Typical Vosne with Asian spice and fresh herb. There’s slight punch in the first sip, yet evolve into a weightless, glamorous mounthfeel. This is of course primary, but hard to resist!

A village that has the fabric of a grand cru. Explosive and detailed nose. Spice, incense, a thousand flowers. In broad and generous mouth well integrated with wood. Silencing Tannins. Good length. A wine that gives you an acidic shuffle in the middle of the palate and tells you it is young, maybe too. Absolutely gorgeous.

Yeild slightly higher than 12, but overall just as well made. Opened for 3 hours+, deep red with violet tones. As expected very fragrant and deep floral nose with only the slightest hint of new oak. Palate with lots of stuffings and great balance, finish with hints of minerals. Benchmark Leroy

Gilles. Harvested in Sep due to low yields before rains. Touch smoky. Approachable with tinge of reduction, polish. Lovely floral aromas. (1308/2424)
