Third Annual White Truffle Dinner (David Burke's Primehouse - Chicago IL): Sensational aromas - perfumed and spicy with mostly primary red cherry. Palate shows the same tart red cherry flavors with lush brown spice, followed by some earthy elements in the background. Really powerful and spicy on finish. Perhaps the best Villages level burgundy I've ever had. At its peak today.

Lieu-dit-Cru White Truffle Dinner (Primehouse): Pale red color. Full nose of floral damp earth and leaves with some spicy black cherry notes. Nice red cherry cough drop on the palate with some spice. Tight and compact, but lovely.

very dark still, good fruit and a lovely harmonious all over silky feel. One big Yum, for a village wine.
