Fairly mature nose with undertones of lemon oil and limestone. Medium bodied and medium plus acidity with a mineral driven lime citrus palate, in a good place, but certainly time to drink up.

When I purchased it fairly recently, I failed to notice that it was an '07. Opening it up tonight amidst searing hot weather, it was quite yellow in the glass but fortunately not oxidized in any way. Less fresh than the other Getariako Txakolina I've had, but still a nice, light, citrusy wine that went very well with scallops and mahi-mahi tonight. FAKE CORK ALERT: I wouldn't suggest hanging on to this much longer if you own any.

I don't think I could have said it better than petitblanc. First time trying this varietal and enjoyed its uniqueness, really tasted a lot of lemon, light bodied, slightly fizzy, delightfully different.
