  • Recorded the day after. This Neal Rosenthal selection was true to the genotype. An honest, well made wine that delivers exactly what you hoped for, which in Burgundy is no mean feat, regardless of price. In the '02 vintage you could say, sure, any idiot could succeed, but this wine has lovely fruit, a hint of smoke, and some damp forest floor all rounding into a delicious package. Drunk as an aperitif at a BYO restaurant. We finished it before the appetizers arrived, never a bad sign.
