Very earthy on the nose with hints of dark cherry, palate also has lots of earthiness, red and black cherry, and blood orange citrus character, light bodied with bright acidity and very fine, delicate tannins

Casual Saturday Tastings (Northern Chicago 'burbs): Stand up tasting. Red cherry and berry throughout, not quite typical 2019 ripeness, but fun now. Better nose than palate.

New Release Burgundy Tasting (Chicago.wine - Glenview IL): Walk around tasting. Some reduction here, this was fun once past that. Sweet and tart red cherry. Lean and balanced for the vintage at this level.

Medium ruby. Light to medium body. High acidity.
Scents of summer flowers and red berries. Some toasted oak.
Red cherry and red berry fruit. The best part is the deep lemon layers of acidity.
Simple, but, charming and refreshing. It will be good with food.

Fleshy, fragrant red fruits on the nose, with a ripe, almost candied edge.
Pretty full on the attack, supple and juicy, with a light savoury element, and a chalky mineral grip on the finish.
