  • Jot it down to my awkward preference for secondary notes, but I thought it is much better "stale" and aged than its youth and fresh. Round and nutty. A bit alcoholic.

  • The wine looks blonde colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like peach, pear and orange blossom. It tastes like grapefruit, peach, pineapple and a touch of flint. The body is light. The wine finishes medium, and has medium acidity.

  • Monday night blinds (Home (Noe st)): (non-blind, my wine)
    Visual: Medium straw

Nose: Elevated intensity nose of white flowers and ripe peaches and nectarines - even a hint of canned peaches. There's even a hint of honey on the nose (botrytis?!). Sweet and fresh. Clearly a semi-terpenic wine. Hint of lees stirring.

Palate: Mostly dry - feels like it might have a couple grams of RS.
    Medium body
    Moderate alcohol - 13%
    Medium plus acid
Just a tiny hint of bitterness on the palate. Hints of yeast packets - lees stirring?

It's pretty classic Albarino, though the bitterness isn't there.
I like it! Tastes like it has a bit of development.

    Around 8.5-9

  • Refreshing prose of citrus, flowers, and a touch of banana. Appealing palate of citrus, flowers, apple, and melon. Nice minerality and acid. Very pleasant.

  • Same lemon color. Bright lemon and lime on the nose but some banana and white peach as well, really floral kick, slight honeysuckle and cut grass kind of spice. So fresh, inviting, lip-smacking, but some delicious lovely creamy texture. I love the lemon curd, sliced limes, green apple, but there’s also some fresh sliced peach and honeydew melon. Floral perfume and white pepper grace the finish. Precise, clean, yet rather complex.
