This wine comes with a screw cap, which is an observation rather than criticism. On first opening, there are generous aromas of dark fruits. It's smooth and fruity on the palate from the off with black fruits and brable jam, gentle acidity and very soft silky tannins that need a good mouth-swirl to emerge. On the back there's a hint of lingering dark cherries. This is mainly fruit-driven, but for those who like that kind of thing it is sure to please. I gave it 89 because it's a good example of its ilk.

Singapore Airlines - Business & Lounges; 10/9/2016-10/12/2016 (Sydney, Singapore, Frankfurt): {screwcap, 14.5%} Dark ruby but translucent at the edge. Leafy – far leafier than the Katnook purporting to be from the same grape. Black fruit flavours; more currant and herbs. The palate is a little syrupy, with warm jammy flavours, minimal tannins, little oak, medium weight. All the signs of fairly high yield fruit are here. I wouldn’t be keeping it either.

Coonawarra Roadshow (Ivy, George Street, Sydney): black and red currant fruit, slight herbaceous notes, slightly rich. In the mouth it's juicy but concentrated and quite dense - good structure - fruit caries on the medium plus length. Okay.

The wine looks purple/inky colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. Abundant nose, smells like cinnamon and plum. Very strong flavour on first taste, lots of tannin. It tastes like plum and flint. The body is medium/full. The wine finishes long. Should cellar well and round off.

Need more of this. Much more than approachable now, while having all necessary to cellar for quite a while.
