Very intensely perfumed. Is it the smell of Cramant? If so, great reference for future blind tastings. Im not the biggest bdb fan. Others might enjoy this wine a lot more than I. Still young but drinks well now if you enjoy young champagne. My preference is more mature.

Grand Cru Wines at The Kenwood (The Kenwood, Mpls, MN): Light gold color. Drank a glass over an hour. Apple, grapefruit, yeast, and a pungent honey and lanolin like aroma on the nose. The palate is vert tart and assertive, tart citrus and grapefruit initially then veering more toward an acidic apple with some citrus pith and strong flinty minerality and some of the pungency too. The palate had a bold fleshiness to it that actually seemed to have some red fruit nuances despite it being Chardonnay. I found it rather interesting, but I prefer the classic styling of the '02 Orpale we drank next to it myself.

Brads btl tonight and an intriguing blt it was. I like the contrast between the low dossage cut and the still abundant stone & citrus fruit. I noticed a unique gunflint like pungency to the minerality. Plenty of depth and a unique one off sort of wine I very much enjoyed. 93pts+

I thought this was very good. Reminded me of bio champagnes like that of Marguet. At 65euro not the greatest QPR.
