Decanted bottle 1/2 hour before dinner of smoked lamb chops on Traeger. Great Pinot fruit on the nose. This is why pinot lovers flock to Windy Oaks. enjoyed their wines since 2005. 13.9% alcohol and no green flavors, Jim is a master of his craft. This clearly has some more enjoyment ahead of it. But why wait? Drink now for pinot pleasure.

13.5% abv. Light burgundy, moderate aromatics. On the palate, cherry, boysenberry and a bit of mint. Moderate depth and intensity, good length. Well balanced and savory, should continue to improve with additional bottle age.

Drinking beautifully right now. Some tertiary flavors on the finish and so well balanced.

Foundation Fundraiser Dinner (Petra and the Beast, Dallas, TX): From 375 ml. Pretty red cherry aromas, spices, green stems, and minerals. Flavors on palate are similar with excellent acids, light bodied with a lovely elegant texture. Lovely. 90+

Very nice drinking Pinot. Bright red fruits, earthy elements, decent sap and a refreshing finish.
