Another short note on this wine. Deep gold but no sign of premox, if anything somewhat taut and closed. Real Chablis typicity. Chalk, flint, iodine and pear. Lemons and limes. Green apple acidity, fresh and persistent. Some reduction and a touch of oak. Orchard and some tropical fruit. Dense and structured. Powerful. Elegant but tactile mouthfeel. Long, finishing with some salinity. As in the last note, about there in its optimal drinking window. Drink out to 2032.

Brief note. Another top Chablis from Piuze in 2014. Deep gold. A fruity, somewhat exotic nose of limes, lemons, wet limestone, peaches and passionfruit. Nascent white florals. Grapefruit and some lime with rich orchard fruit on palate. But real intensity, racy, powerful acidity. Dense and concentrated, still a little tight, finishing quite long and very dry on chalky minerality. Close to or at peak drinking, until at least 2032, I would expect. 92+.

Nose a bit closed still - matchstick quality and a bit of sulfur. Stone, mineral and oyster shell strong. Some vanilla/oak notes there, I think, and maybe a bit of buttery tones of ML? But balanced with malic still. Stewed apple fruit. Palate good, if not great acid, lots of minerals, softer than some, oak seems to be there on the finish, along with mineral. But it's very well balanced - impeccably well made, and none of the flab of poorly made wines

Pale light straw color...nose is stone fruit of apricot, wet limestone chalkiness, lime rind....palate is key lime pie, apricot, lemon, bracing acidity, minerality... Very complex wine

Extremely green, fresh, tight. But shock-full of minerals and elegance. Will be great in a few years.
