Six Nations 2016: This bottle shape would be a real pain to cellar. Toast, honey and nutty aromas. Palate is in a similar style with lots of toast and oak. Too much.

Six nations tasting (49 King Street Wharf): toasty, nutty with wild ferment, savoury leesy, tangy and more of the same on the palate. It's got plenty of acidity but a distinct lack of fruit. Nice structure though

JM and James at Niagara! (Niagara Peninsula VQA): Matchstick, burnt tyre, clay. Clean hay, floral whites, creamy malo, butter. Poached pear, vanilla, oak-forward. Liimestone finish.
