Loved this. All about class, not power, very Burgundian minerality and flintiness; reticent on day one but bloomed to full glory on day two. Show's not over yet so hold or drink, and give it lots of air.

Sheer class in a glass, just about everything that I look for in a New World Chardonnay. This had real finesse rather than any sense of power or depth or heaviness that would result from lots of oak, barrel fermentation or just old age. In fact, drinking really well now. Beautiful balance, no sense of sweetness, all in all arguably the most elegant Chardonnay we have had from NZ, paired very well with pan fried turbot.

Struck match, Apple on the nose. Good acidity on the palate making this very crisp. Very enjoyable. Just lacks a little complexity for my liking to take this into the 90s.
