Super dry, super delicious, smooth. Damn I have had it so many times during the last 10-12 years I have nothing else to say. Gary Veynerchuck said that this wine was a 40+ year wine and to be honest it is not. It is a 20-25 , not 40. Drink over the next 2 -3 years. I have 3 or 4 left and I plan to drinkem in 2023

Lovely mature wine. Taste like a merlot based wine with lovely fruit as well as good dry tanins on the finish. Could last longer but drinking well now.

Red/black fruit and a fair load of oak that softens a bit with 1-2 hrs slo=ox. Unfortunately, the fruit looses it's edge at the same pace. Better with food. 91-90

(Chateau La Clemence) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-gorgeous fruit coming through; a peppermint Candy Cane component; prune juice & dried raisins; very hedonistic & colorful; seems like a Right Bank wine (Merlot based); TASTE-really heavy dose of pure fruit jamminess (slightly over-the-top), but Old World in it's approach; very dry; this is really textbook deliciousness; this is "classic" Bordeaux -- dark chocolate, cedar box component; great beautiful fruit; little cinnamon sprinkled on top; great mid-palate; ridonkulously long finish (40-75 seconds); great bold tannins; you can drink it now w/ 4-6 hour decant; will show well in next 3-5 years; has the backbone, complexity, structure & presence to last for 40+ years; this wine completely blows me away; a GREAT bottle of wine that completely brings the thunder; RP-92; GV-95+
