  • We discussed the possibility that it wasn’t long enough, but actually I think it improved, and it really came into its own with food. Lovely medium gold colour, with a very attractive nose of lychee and sweet spice and ‘hot stones’. The palate was dry but honeyed with notes of lychee and roses but very, very mineral and upright.
