Med gold Med intensity, nectarin, pine apple, orchid, pastry, buttery, honey comb, lemon curd, grape fruit, developing. Dry, high acidity, med alcohol, med+ intensity, pine apple, pastry, honey, nectarin, med body, med+ finish with a bit of bitterness of nectarine in a good way. Overall, this is a very good wine. Paired well with seafood pasta and seaweed pork knuckle soup.

I think I like this a tad more than the general CT average. Improved a lot as it warmed - loosing its bitter qualities and gaining in lemony and pebble complexities. Very good.

OK. I'm typically a fan of this wine, however, in this particular vintage, not so much. Xavier Auerbach's note pretty much mirrors my own sentiment "Even though it is rich and honeyed, it is not necessarily big or weighty (12.5% ABV), but it does lack precision and cut, the bitters dominate on the palate, it is vinous and spicy, but the finish is going nowhere. I'm not a fan". Drink now if you have some.
Pretty white flowers, green melon and apple on the nose, green almond and melon on the palate with acidity recalling pomelo with a hint of pith. Refreshingly crisp in the mouth, went beautifully with sockeye salmon and braised greens with speck. A lovely wine if on the light-bodied side, I miss the creamy yeast and biscuit aromas classic to many soaves with extended lees contact. Drink soon.

A very good showing, a strong phenolic character offset with lemon, stone and fresh Italian herbs.
