Pale lemon colour. Very toasty nose; with air, some red fruits, sweet and sherbetty. Mild palate, lacking some of the intensity of a good vintage wine. Still, it's appealing, light and soft, and good value. With air, more acidity. [Cork + cage; 12.5% abv; Sainsbury's, on offer at £20].

Another good Champagne from Duval-Leroy and the Winemaker - Sandrine Logette-Jardin. A light baked biscuit colour. In the glass a profusion of swirling very small bubbles in one glass and a stream coming straight up from the base in my glass, all lasted a good hour from an open bottle. Very good value for money at £20.00 a saving of £5.00on 18th Aug 2016

Pale lemon-ivory. Lots of clementine on the nose. Nice and round, appley with a sliver of coconut. Good richness and a little maturity. Great value. Note, made by Duval-Leroy. [Cork + cage; 12.5% abv; Sainsbury's, reduced from £23 to £20].

Quite an open nose with sherbetty, citrus aromas. Quite big with powerful flavours, crunchy green fruits and toasty biscuit notes. Good acidity holds it all together and the mousse has good persistence. Great value for £14.

The average price for there own brand Champagne is £20.00 well this is worth the extra £5.00 it knocks spots off the others. You get a quility Premier Cur at a fraction of the price, well dune to Logette Jardin the wine make for this Vintage wine.
