Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. Summer morning sunshine in a glass. Pale yellow, lightly sparkling (frizzante). The nose is semi-aromatic, with medium (+) intensity aromas of pear, tangerine, orange, apricot, honeysuckle and jasmine. The alcohol is low at 5.5%. The medium to medium (+) acidity and minerality keep the fruit and sugar in balance, resulting in a balanced, long clean and refreshing finish that just keeps you coming back for more. This has an insanely high 120g/L of sugar, but you wouldn't know it thanks to the low pH and crisp fruit. Drink now, not intended for aging (although it's showing pretty well despite three years of unnecessary aging). Best served with a little chill. Tasted again on 8/28/18 with consistent results.

Feminine nose of pear, jasmine, and moments of mint leaf. Fruit-forward, but the palate really dives into enchanting blooming jasmine. I really like this because it has a distinguished personality. Paired best with the Spanish Garrotxa (cheese).
