This bottle beat a recent tasting of the 04 zind clos, not overly complex but had some great notes when at right temp. Don’t overcool, not serve too warm. 45-50 degrees temp

Pushed the envelope with this, but it was worth the wait. Silky, honey coloured, Viscous on the glass, slight bitter note (very slight and pleasant), with the candied fruit alongside. Perfect with slightly spicy foods. No oxidation, perfect condition.
Color is surprisingly dark yellow/orange, but nosing the wine assures me it is not oxidised at all. It has a really creamy, buttery, fruitiness over it. What a unique nose.
On palate it is dry, is only slightly rich and has a medium acidity. Bitter finish.
Overall a fun wine although lacking a lot in flavour. Drink now or store for later.

Perfectly fine wine but on it's way out. Better a couple years ago. Still drinkable but not showing what other 2004 bottlings are right now from Zind.

not blind. singularly nice, but not singularly distinctive; a tad boring.
