  I would not open this now. It is a really lovely Hermitage with cool red fruits, herbs, and reasonably fine tannins. But it's pretty shy at the moment. I suspect when this unfurls it will be an elegant, classic Northern Rhone and bring great satisfaction.

  Big, burly, meaty, richly dark fruited, long. After an hour or so decant and another 30 in the glass it was drinking beautifully.

  Nicolas restaurant in Singapore on Wednesday evening with Seb and Romain. Medium purple Color. Beautiful nose with red cherry, raspberry, roses, leather, sweet spices, vegetal and animal notes, a very complex nose. Med acidity, full body, high alcohol, Med+ flavor intensity, Med tannins, long finish. Minty, animal, vegetal and leather notes, silky tannins, Mediterranean herbs and olives, I feel like we are in the south of France. Excellent albeit on the young side.

  Bright, fresh, lifted, crisp, red fruits, smoke, licorice and blackberries are all over the place. Medium/full-bodied, youthful, vigorous, and with a good future, give it at least a decade in the cellar before pulling a cork.

  One long time of my favs of northern Rhône valley, not disappointing that time, as I had a couple of deceptions, nose shows a bit of lard, and oak, when the palate is super long, aftertaste lingers, and the dark black fruits melt with stony peppers ! 15/20 years... I know by experience the wines here may close for a long time after being sometimes extremely good when young...
