  Lunch de la Ligue du vieux poêle (Restaurant Bagatelle): Le vin fut carafé 90 minutes, ce qui fut suffisant.
  Joli nez très syrah (fruit noir, un peu de tapenade). Belle texture élégante, avec des tanins fins, un superbe équilibre et une longue finale précise.
  J’étais persuadé de goûter une Côte Rôtie. Excellent. 93 pts

  deep nose and palate. Black and white pepper. Dark fruits. Some blood/meat notes.Dense and very long. Focussed.
  
  Like others I think this is still pretty young and score likely to go up.

  Opens with gamey, bloody aromas...nice and promising. On the palate, there is excellent and intense fruit, game meat, and a licorice aspect, but the wine's structure dominates right now and the tannins are a bit obtrusive. The wine improved with air...and even more with a grilled NY strip...but for my taste the wine remains too young to show its full wares. My bet is that this wine is considerably better in 10 years than it is today. I'm holding remaining bottles.

  I wanted to try this and am glad I did, but it needs another 5 years at least to develop. Very clean, lovely cherry red colour. Nose a tad muted, but very well balanced. You just know it’s top class winemaking, but it was a case of me being too eager to open it. Lesson learned!
