I served this at a wine party and it was a hit. Light cherry fruit, good acid, some interesting earthy characteristics. The folks that like forest-floor flavors were big fans. The cali-cab lovers, not so much.

Coravin tasting requires at least 15 min to open in the glass
clear, deep ruby-brown med aromas intensity of dark red plum, jammy cherries, blueberries, tamarind, oaky-woody notes, violets, rose petals, spices like marjoram and anise, chocolate, leather, notes of grilled meat, earth, forest floor; developing; dry, high acidity, med+ tannins, high abv, med+ body, med+ flavors intensity consistent with the aromas (but amplified), long tannic finish; med+ complexity; can drink now - suitable for few more years of aging; Bottom line: Very good!
