Drank with a friend against ‘10 DRC (Richebourg). Even more open and complex than my previous bottle. Brown sugar and almond biscuit nose. Lithe palate of stewed strawberry, milk chocolate, brown sugar, black tea. Some green pepper. Stunning. 97/100

Slow ox’ed in bottle and ready to go in an hour. DRC-like stem nose; like the ‘10 Grand Ech I had recently. But the palate brings you back to Musigny. Silky long sweet red berry. Porcini mushroom and Oolong tea finish. 96-97/100

La Paulée de Los Angeles Gala Dinner (The Fairmont - Santa Monica CA): Small glass. Sensational already today, this is another special vintage for this great wine.
