  Big hay barn, oak and spice nose . Elegantly balanced on palate, black currant, cassis, ripe black berry flavours. Very good soft tannin structure and some acidity for a lengthy finish. Drinking well now. Excellent wine.

  Dark transparent garnet, very similar to that of Costasera Amarone. Looks medium bodied. Dominant nose of oak and barnyard but the latter disappears quite soon. Not quite complex, just some oak, balsamic and blackcurrant on the palate with some tart tannins. Needs some decanting, at least 30 min. Medium finish with oak, balsamic. The oak treatment is pretty good and overall taste is also good but maybe in the ’dumb phase’.

  (Berry's Rioja and Catalonia Tasting 2015) :: Finely balanced notes of balsam, clove & dark fruits. Still feels quite discreet and that it is still to come together properly. Very good though - soft, elegant and distinguished.
