Consumed over 1 1/2 hours, warming from fridge temp to cool room temp. Medium-bodied, yellow with hints of green in the glass. Notes of citrus pith (lemon/grapefruit), pear, and white flowers. Solid acidity provides some welcome energy - this is pretty nicely balanced and should show well for at least a few more years. If more CA chardonnay were like this, I'd buy more.

I love this wine. Burgundian in style, with an inviting cool climate aroma. Notes of pears, orchard fruit, and lemon zest are bolstered by a bright cut, weightless creaminess, and fleet-footed crispness, clarity, and salinity.
