1 hour decant gives a wine that is smooth yet bright. Clearly new world, yet the acidity keeps it lively and helps hides the 14,8% alcohol. Ready to drink but should be fine for a few more years.

A delicious, food friendly red. The herbaceous merlot notes come through, as do the Cabernet flavors and the weight of the petite Verdot. It's a good wine with nice medium-bodied tannins. Great ripe and cooked red and black fruit flavors The QPR is a little off - it would be a fantastic $28 wine.
