Excellent Similar to my 2021 TN, but even better and oddly not "getting into tertiary territory" this time, even though the bottles were purchased from the same source at the same time. In any case, this was a great deal at $14 USD. As authentic as you get get in a CdR, bunching above its weight.

Practically equivalent to a CdP. Mourvèdre is prominent - bacon, leather, cedar - and adds weight to the Grenache. On opening, prominent tannins and charcoal on the back palate. Iron. Blackberry fruit.

Really good, went well with grilled steak. Smoke, bacon fat, some aging meat, some scrub brush and black olive. Very nice QPR under $15. Strange I received a few of these over three years ago but only now popped open the first one. The CT drinking window goes to 2024, but as others noted this is getting into tertiary territory, so I'll bring up to 2023.

Dark red color. Musty dark fruit aromas. Ripe black cherry and charcoal flavors with some weight and heat on the finish. Great value, wish I had more.
