Decant this medium body value baby and enjoy its unadorned straightforward clarity. The pure, but subtle bouquet is scented with violet scents leading to raspberry, blueberry and a hint of black fruit Fine minerality with a smooth pleasing finish, focused acidity gives the roundness and richness desired.

Enjoyed this bottle over lamb and smoked trout at Gramercy Tavern. Charming, lots of berry, with a surprisingly long finish for a relatively light burgundy. Good QPR.

Joyaux en Côte de Nuits (Marsannay/Gevrey-Chambertin) - Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Complexe Sportif Gevrey-Chambertin): Tasting, brief note. Black cherry and berry with soft, rounded tannins that make for a very elegant Marsannay that is charmingly fruit-forward and nicely accessible already with good length. Very good for it level, 89-90 points.
