Opened for two hours prior to drinking and this was singing! Would have been great with food, but even without it was terrific. Notes of green bell pepper, tobacco, dark chocolate, dark red raspberry, and blackberry.

Hooked up to nitrogen, followed over several days. Very green and peppery day one, continued to improve over time, however as the flavor became more enjoyable the wines depth diminished.

Coaravin'd a glass yesterday, balance was a pop and pour today. Followed ove r90 mins, this is VERY drinkable and a great QPR. Even w a modest cold, there's noticeable tar, tight oak and cigar on the nose; very easy on the palate, this CF is more refined than any recent offerings from Pride or Viader, at $40 bottle. Very easy to drink with few of the green or rough edges you often find in a CF. Well-done.

My favorite of the Kenefick wines in this range. Had a short decant and it was great. Have a glass left for night two and looking forward to it!
Delicious!
