Deep golden yellow, nose with a nice freshness that it does not quite confirm completely on the palate due to its density and maturity. Lots of yellow, exotic notes, candied fruit, candied ginger, a touch of white pepper. The good, ripe acidity carries the full body, it is substantial, dense, also mineral on the finish. A mouthful of wine. Slight saltiness, enormous extract sweetness, umami. The wine offers a lot, but it is a matter of personal preference whether you like such a thick ship.

A bit more density, finesse on the nose, the fruit is a bit riper and less muted compared to Achleiten. Slightly peppery and mineral. On the palate again a bit more expressive and powerful, but again this remarkable precision and focus. Pure fruit, bright acidity. Persistent and lingering with a gentle saline touch. I have a slight preference for Stockkultur over the "standard" Achleiten Smaragd but it's hard for me to pin down exactly why. 95-96+

Citrus, peaches, grapefruit with spice and a touch of earthiness in the nose and flavor. Nice complexity and a long finish. Impressive!
