PnP and drunk over three nights (left in the fridge with the cork in). It was gone by the third, but quite enjoyable (if a little simple) over the first two.

Deep dark wine. The wine seems to be a bit closed at the beginning, then it became much better after 2 hours. Oaky aroma with smokey violet aroma, medium to light body, overall a very food value wine.

Deep garnet with some hints of ruby. Cassis, plum, tobacco and some oak on the nose. Medium acidity and body, medium long finish. I saw the tannins described as rustic below and this speaks to me. There is something quintessentially old style Bordeaux as I remember it from when I was younger and my grandfather would let me have a sip. I probably added 1 point just for that.

Quite ripe and oaky on the nose, quite expressive with notes of spices, tobacco, smoke. On the palate simple, fresh, generous and sweet fruit, unobtrusive tannins. Medium length. 87-89

UGC Tasting Amsterdam 2/5/2018: Difficult to find a bouquet, some spices, tasty, however somewhat one dimensional. Sorry, I forgot the notation.
