Taste: leather, tobacco and cinnamon in the taste. Rather sweet. Round and quite soft. The tannins were more resolved than with my last bottle, but were still a bit drying, especially when drunk on its own at day four. Then also the alcohol was a bit burning. Already showing some nice complexity, but to my taste this wine now is only entering its drinking window. I will open my next bottle not before 2025 or 2026. Looking forward to that because this wine really seems promising. Potentially 90+.

Short summary: Lots of fruit, great fun to drink, now in its prime drinking window.

No, I cannot agree that this wine is 'impressive' or 'delicious'. It is a fairly straight ahead Right Bank, 2nd tier Merlot, marketed as a wanna-be St Emilion Grand Cru. I purchased a case of these some time ago. 3 down, 3 to go.

Impressive richness and concentration, subtle secondary elements and good balancing acidity and tannins. Excellent Merlot based Bordeaux that is drinking very well now on short decant.

Solid right bank value wine. Sweet and plush plums with red and black fruit with some earth and a touch of oak.
