Good wine, full of character. Noticeably unfiltered. Steely grapefruit and minerals but with a uniquely savory, biscuity core. Like Champagne with its leesy richness.

Pyramid Valley new releases: 11.5% alcohol. Chalk, lemon, white florals and pineapple. Fine line on the palate, good acidity and some decent texture. Lithe and mineral wine, with medium length. It could do with a little more depth and interest, I like it but certainly don't love it - still a decent result from a tricky vintage.
